Using a proprietary compression algorithm, the WARP I Data Compressorenhances point-to-point data communication links in the RS-232/V.35 speedranges. WARP I is capable of throughputs from 128 Kbps to 256 Kbps. WARPI is a transparent solution where network speed and performance can beimproved without replacing existing equipment. With WARP I, computers cancommunicate two-to-five times faster over existing links. Communicationcosts can be reduced by 50 to 80 percent.The FASTOK Data Compressor incorporates the same algorithms as WARP I,but was designed for RS-232 links and is capable of throughputs of 38.4Kbps to 57.6 Kbps.
